    Hey Carl, you are so right. You hit it on the head when you said "Just show up." I have been amazed at how quickly things can come together by just dropping a tweet or picking up the phone (like I just did :P).

    Folks, if you have a vision of where you want to go, just get out there and get started. Carl is right, sometimes it's uncomfortable. But that's the feeling of growth. I like to say you have to embrace the suck to get good at anything new.

    I love situations like that, when things just seem to come together all because of one little decision. Simply showing up for an opportunity is most of the battle!

    Hi Carl,

    Very nicely done. Somehow I'm reminded of your old blogpost on cold showers. It seems that discomfort really is the key to everything in life or at least, if you want to make some advances you need to get out of that comfortable bubble.
    In a few years (I give it 18 months at max) you'll be one of the high rollers in the LIP world. And we here are witness to the beginnings.

    Oh how I should resume my cold showers. They were excellent.

    Maybe I'll do a monthly challenge here with my readers and cold showers can be one of them again.

    Awesome amazing. Yes, this is how things happen. What I love is that we do things that are uncomfortable. They don't get better - WE get better at handling them. That's the key. Keep on rawking!
